Terms of use
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These terms of use set the rules for using Goodform (the website goodform.coach, the web application and the mobile apps), published by Iterative Bits SAS. They apply to coaches and to their clients. Creating an account, or using Goodform to book or pay a coach, means accepting them.
1. Definitions
- Platform: the website, the web application and the Goodform mobile apps.
- Coach: an independent sports or wellness professional who uses Goodform to run their business and holds a Goodform subscription.
- Client: a person who uses Goodform to book, pay for or follow coaching with a coach.
- User: any coach or client with an account, or any visitor of a coach’s page.
- Content: everything a user publishes or sends on the platform (texts, photos, videos, programs, meal plans, messages, reviews).
2. Account and sign-in
You sign in without a password, with a code sent to your email address, or with Apple or Google. Keep access to your email address secure: anyone who can read it can sign in to your account. Tell us at once at hello@goodform.coach if you think someone else is using your account.
The information you give must be accurate and kept up to date. The platform is for adults. A minor may only use it with the agreement of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.
3. What Goodform does and does not do
Goodform provides software: coach pages, booking, online payment, invoices, programs, meal plans, check-ins, messages and content libraries. Coaches and clients deal with each other directly.
Goodform is not a coach, is not a party to the contract between a coach and a client, and gives no sports, nutrition or medical advice. Goodform does not rank or recommend coaches: each coach has their own page, which they write and publish.
4. Coaches’ commitments
As a coach, you undertake to:
- hold the diplomas, titles and professional card required to coach a physical or sporting activity for a fee (articles L212-1 and following of the French Sports Code), and professional liability insurance;
- give your clients, before any purchase, clear information on your prices, the content of your offers, your cancellation conditions and, for sales at a distance to consumers, the right of withdrawal;
- fill in accurate business details (name, SIRET, address, VAT status): they appear on your invoices;
- use your clients’ data only to coach them, as data controller (see the privacy policy), and collect their consent where the law requires it, in particular for health data;
- publish only content you have the right to use, and never ask clients to leave or remove a review.
5. Clients’ commitments
As a client, you undertake to give accurate information to your coach, in particular about your health, and to follow your coach’s conditions (cancellation, rescheduling, house rules).
Before starting a sports program, ask your doctor whether you can practise safely. Stop exercising and seek help if you feel pain or discomfort.
6. Buying from a coach
When you book or pay for a session, a pack of sessions, a membership, a course or a gift card, the contract is between you and the coach. The coach sets the prices and the conditions, shown before you pay. The invoice is issued in the coach’s name.
Cancellation and refunds follow the coach’s conditions shown at checkout. For a purchase made at a distance, you have 14 days to withdraw (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code), unless you ask for the service to start before the end of that period and it has been fully provided; if it has started, you pay for what was provided up to your withdrawal. Contact your coach first about any problem with a purchase.
7. Payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe, an authorised payment institution. The money goes to the coach’s Stripe account, not to Goodform. Iterative Bits SAS only takes a fee on clients’ card payments, deducted by Stripe from the amount the coach receives, at the rate set in the terms of sale: the client pays nothing more than the price shown. Coaches accept Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement when they connect their account. Goodform never sees or stores full card numbers.
8. Content
You keep the rights to your content. You allow Iterative Bits SAS to host it, show it to the people you share it with and copy it as needed to run the platform, for as long as it is online.
It is forbidden to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, violent, sexual, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that reveals someone’s personal data without their agreement. We can remove such content when it is reported to us, and suspend the account that published it.
The Goodform exercise and recipe libraries may be used inside the platform to coach your clients. Copying them in bulk or reusing them outside Goodform is not allowed.
9. Reviews
Only a client who had at least one session with a coach can review them. Reviews are shown newest first, with their date. A coach cannot edit or hide a review, and no reward is given for a review. Anyone can report a review they believe is false or unlawful; we check it and may remove it, and we tell its author why. Reviews are kept as long as the coach’s page is online.
10. Health and nutrition
Programs, meal plans and nutrition targets are written by your coach. These nutrition tips are given by your coach as guidance and do not replace medical advice. Goodform does not check their content.
11. Availability
We do our best to keep Goodform available at all times and to fix problems quickly. Maintenance can interrupt it for short periods, announced in advance where possible. We can change features to improve the platform, without removing what a coach pays for without notice.
12. Liability
Iterative Bits SAS is responsible for providing the platform. It is not responsible for the coaching itself, for the relationship between a coach and a client, for content published by users, or for damage caused by misuse of the platform.
Nothing in these terms limits the liability of Iterative Bits SAS for death or personal injury it causes, for gross negligence, or the rights consumers have under the law.
13. Closing an account
You can close your account at any time from your settings or by writing to hello@goodform.coach. We can suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these terms, after a warning unless the breach is urgent (fraud, unlawful content, danger to others). A coach account whose subscription is unpaid is deactivated, as the terms of sale describe.
When an account is closed, data is deleted as described in the privacy policy. Invoices are kept 10 years, as French law requires.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before an important change applies. If you do not agree, you can close your account before that date.
15. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Contact us first at hello@goodform.coach: most problems are solved this way.
If you are a consumer, you can also refer a dispute with Iterative Bits SAS to a consumer mediator, free of charge: their contact details are given to you on request at hello@goodform.coach. Otherwise, disputes go before the courts of Paris, unless the law says otherwise.
