Import your clients, programs and nutrition

Bring what you already have from a spreadsheet, Google Sheets or your notes, with the AI import.

Where to import

Choose Import on Clients, Programs or Meal plans (or on your home page when you start). Every import shows you the result first: nothing is saved until you click Import.

Clients and leads

Use a CSV or Excel file, or a Google Sheets link, with one person per row. The columns can be in French or English and in any order: first name and last name (or one name column), email, phone, sessions left, tags, notes, goals, birth date and status (client or lead). Tags and goals are separated by commas. Clients get an invite link; leads go to Clients → Leads (your page must be published). Someone already in your list is updated, not added twice. Health information is never imported: record it on the client’s profile once they have agreed.

Programs

Download the template on the import page: one row per exercise, with program, week, day, workout, exercise, sets, reps, load, rest, tempo and notes. An empty cell repeats the row above, and a week can be a range (1-4). Each exercise is matched to the library or to your own exercises, in French or English; for the rows Goodform could not match, pick an exercise or create it as yours. Each program becomes a draft you can edit, then assign.

Google Sheets

In the sheet, click Share, set General access to "Anyone with the link" as Viewer, copy the link and paste it in Goodform. Goodform downloads the sheet once; you can turn sharing off afterwards.

The AI import

Drop any file (CSV, Excel, text, PDF or a photo) or paste your notes. The AI (Claude, by Anthropic) puts it in Goodform’s shape: clients split into first and last names, programs with their weeks and days, meal plans and recipes, loads converted from lb to kg, exercises matched to the library and foods to the CIQUAL table to compute the macros. You check and change every row before importing. Your data is sent to Anthropic only to be read; Anthropic does not use it to train its models. You can run up to 20 AI imports a day. Remove health information from what you send unless you need it.
