Paid by card with Goodform
For a session at €50 paid by card, you receive about €48 on Start (2% fee) or €48.50 on Pro (1% fee), after Stripe’s fee (about 1.5% + €0.25 for a European card). Cash and bank transfers you record have no fee.
How it is computed
Turnover needed in a year = (net income per month + costs per month) × 12 ÷ (1 − contribution rate). Sessions in a year = sessions per week × (52 − weeks off). Price of a session = turnover ÷ sessions, rounded up to the euro.
Micro-entrepreneur social contributions are a share of turnover. Rates in force in 2026 (service-public.gouv.fr, page F36232, checked 1 January 2026): 25.6% for an unregulated liberal profession (BNC), the usual case for a coach, and 21.2% for commercial services (BIC). The vocational training contribution (0.1% to 0.3%), income tax and the optional flat tax payment are not included.
The pack is 10 sessions with the discount you set (10% by default). The membership is the number of sessions per month you set (4 by default) with its discount (15% by default). Discounts lower what you earn per session: if most clients take them, raise the base price a little.
Frequently asked questions
Which contribution rate should I use?
It depends on how your activity is registered. Most coaches are an unregulated liberal profession (BNC): 25.6% in 2026. Commercial services (BIC) pay 21.2%. Your rate is on your URSSAF account; you can type it in the calculator.
Is the result what I take home?
It is your income after social contributions and costs, before income tax. Weeks off, cancelled sessions and quiet months all count: be realistic about the sessions you really give per week.
Is there a turnover ceiling?
Yes. For services, the micro-entrepreneur scheme stops above €83,600 of turnover a year (2026). The calculator warns you when the turnover needed goes above it.
What about card payment fees?
Card payments cost a processing fee. With Goodform, Stripe charges about 1.5% + €0.25 for a European card and Goodform adds a fee of 2% on Start or 1% on Pro. Cash and bank transfers you record yourself have no fee. The result shows what you receive for a session paid by card.
